Quick rights overview

Over the data Nestino holds about you, you have the rights the GDPR gives you. For each of them the table below states what it means and where you exercise it.

We answer requests within 30 days.

Right Description How to exercise
Access Obtain a copy of the personal data we process about you. Request in app (opens in a new tab)
Rectification Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data in your account. Edit account (opens in a new tab)
Erasure Close your account; we erase it after a seven-day grace period ("right to be forgotten"). Delete in app (opens in a new tab)
Portability Receive your data in a machine-readable format for transfer elsewhere. Export data (opens in a new tab)
Restriction Request that processing of your data be suspended in certain situations. Send email
Objection Object to processing based on legitimate interest. Send email

Exercise your right

You ask for a copy of your data in the app, in settings, in the section with irreversible operations. We record the request and handle it by hand within 30 days. At the moment the request is submitted no file is created and there is nothing to download — the button below takes you to where the request is submitted.

If you submit the same request again within 24 hours, no new one is created. It attaches to the one that is already waiting to be handled.

You confirm the deletion of your account with your password and by typing the confirmation word the dialog prompts you for. If the password does not match, the deletion does not proceed. If you are the sole admin of a family, the deletion does not proceed either — the app lists which families are affected, and the admin role has to be handed over to another member first.

After a successful deletion you can no longer sign in and you disappear from your families’ active lists immediately. What happens next to individual data is described in Privacy.

Complex requests

If your request does not fall under either of the buttons above, write to us at hello@nestino.cz. Describe what you need and we will get back to you within 30 days.

If you believe we process your data in breach of the rules, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection).

The full processing terms, retention periods, and the list of recipients are on the Privacy page. The technical measures with which we protect data are summarised in Security.
